The sun is coming out, the days are getting longer, and a new wave of international students has finally landed in Friuli!
To kick off the Spring Semester, ESN Udine organized a packed calendar of Welcome Days designed to turn strangers into a big international family.
Starting from February 9th, we hit the ground running with a series of events that showcased the best of our city and our community:

The Classics: We began with a City Tour, followed by the Welcome Conference, where our new International Students got all the essential tips for surviving (and thriving!) in Udine.

The Flavor of Friuli: No welcome week is complete without a Giro delle Osterie. We introduced the newcomers to the local culture, wandering through the historic streets and enjoying the authentic tavern atmosphere.

Global Tastes: One of the highlights was the International Dinner, a massive potluck where everyone shared a piece of their home through food.

Culture & Fun: We explored local history with a Museum Tour of Udine and tested everyone’s competitive spirit during our high-energy Cup Pong Night.
The Grand Finale: Venice Carnival Vibes
To wrap up the Welcome Days in style, we took the adventure on the road! We traveled to Padua, where our friends at ESN Padova hosted us for an unforgettable day. After exploring the city's beautiful squares, we ended the night in true Italian style at their legendary Carnival Party.
