And that’s a small wrap from our Welcome Days! New town, new faces, lots of new friends made in just two weeks, countless Google Maps searches and way too many language switches. Let’s rewind the start of our Erasmus in Udine by looking back at some of the best moments.

We began our adventure with a guided city tour of Udine, discovering its history, culture, and hidden gems, followed by the Welcome Conference, where we learned more about ESN, the university, and all the opportunities ahead. The next day, we explored the city in a playful and competitive way through the Photo Rally, teaming up to solve clues and capture creative photos.

As the days went on, we enjoyed the Pizza Experience, sharing a relaxed evening dedicated to Italian food, and later spent an afternoon playing volleyball in the park, the perfect mix of sport and socializing. We then immersed ourselves in Udine’s cultural side during the museum tour, diving into Italian and Friulian art and heritage.

One of the most heartfelt moments was the International Dinner, where we brought dishes from our home countries, creating a warm atmosphere rich in flavors and stories from all over the world. The Welcome Party kept the energy high with music, dancing, and the vibrant international spirit that defines Erasmus. Finally, the Welcome Days concluded with a beautiful trip to Venice, giving us the chance to explore canals, bridges, and one of the world’s most iconic cities together.
